Actually, this type is uncommon among Bulgarians (but not really rare).
Most common type among Bulgarians = east med.
Incorrect. Pontid is the most common type among us, East Med is which is uncommon but not that rare too.
Pontid (from South Russia or Ukraine or Hungary) = nearly nordic facial features + slender built + mousy brown ("temno-rusyi") hair + lightish eyes + rosy skin
Bulgarian (average Bulgarian) = robust east meditearranean facial features + mor or less robust built + dark brown hair + dark-mixed eyes + light olive skin
1. What you describe as "Pontid" is North Pontid actually.
2. Bulgarians aren't robust. We are quite gracile on average. Also, majority of Bulgarians have light or mixed eyes, truly dark eyes are rare.
3. Light olive skin is uncommon among us, as much as rosy skin is. Light olive skin is common among Anatolian Turks or Kurds for example. Bulgarians usually have pale skin.
